Guest Quarters, Mother in Law

Our client had a lot of space to utilize in their basement. Finishing your basement not only adds livable square footage to your house but you no longer enter into a dark underground that feels half done at best.

 

This project involved adding a kitchen and bathroom as well as finishing the space to work with the rest of the house. Soundproofing z channels were added throughout and the house is now strapped to the foundation for earthquake safety.
